Elettra s.r.l. performs compliance testing with the safety requirements by carrying out the tests prescribed by the standards, and by analyzing product design, component selection, accompanying documentation (manuals, labels, etc.).
Elettra has operated as a Notified Body according to EEC Directives 73/23 and 2006/95 / EC; Directive 2014/35 / EU no longer has the role of body notified for this Directive; however, companies may voluntarily use third party certifications to demonstrate compliance of the product and the relevant technical dossiers with the requirements of the Directive. In addition, Elettra continues to carry out market surveillance activities by carrying out tests and verifications of compliance for Chambers of Commerce making product withdrawals on the market.
